Meeting of the Mi’kmaq Grand Council at Government House – 2 October 2018

To reinforce the long and deep relationship that exists between the Crown and the Mi’kmaq people, the Mi’kmaq Grand Council convened their meeting at Government House today. In collaboration with the Nova Scotia Potters Guild, Government House will host a ceramics exhibition titled Quaff: To Drink Deeply that has been created by some of Nova Scotia’s finest artists. Quaff is a juried exhibition of new work by members of the Nova Scotia Potters Guild. In collaboration with the Nova Scotia Potters Guild, Government House is pleased to host a ceramics exhibition titled QUAFF: To Drink Deeply that has been created by some of Nova Scotia’s finest ceramics artists. QUAFF is a juried exhibition of new work by members of the Guild. The exhibition’s theme has inspired pieces ranging from complete tea sets to birds in a tree waiting to drink.
