The public is invited to attend the annual Lieutenant Governor's Garden Party on Wednesday, June 19, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Their Honours The Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and Mrs. Patsy LeBlanc will host the annual Garden Party on the grounds of Government House in Halifax.

The 50th Anniversary of Official Bilingualism in Canada will be marked as part of this year’s Garden Party.  Musical entertainment will be provided by the Bridgewater Fire Department Band and les Sœurs Doucet – Céline and Danelle.

Those planning to attend the party should enter Government House through the main entrance on 1451 Barrington St. Parking is not available at Government House, but is available on surrounding streets and lots.

In case of inclement weather, the Garden Party will be held indoors at Government House.

An invitation and registration are not required to attend.  All are welcome!
