Following is a list of the spouses of the Lieutenant Governors of Nova Scotia who have resided at Government House Halifax.

A female spouse of the Lieutenant Governor may be referred to as the "Chatelaine" which references her status as the "mistress of the household" or the woman in charge of the family dwelling.

Please note that a few of the Lieutenant Governors had more than one spouse during their lifetime, this chart reflects the spouse who resided with them at Government House during their spouse's term in office as Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia.
