Government House to Host Executive Council Meeting

His Honour Brigadier-General The Honourable J.J. Grant CMM, ONS, CD, (Ret’d), Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia is pleased to welcome the Executive Council of Nova Scotia to Government House for the first time since restorations were completed in 2009. On the 60th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Korean War, we remember and honour the 26,000 Canadians who served in Korea and the more than 500 Canadians who lost their lives in this terrible conflict. Public Invited to Sign Book of Congratulations at Government House

Lt.-Gov. J.J. Grant and Mrs. Joan Grant extend congratulations to Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son today, July 22 2013. From July 23, members of the public are invited to sign the congratulatory message book available at Government House, 1451 Barrington St., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Aug. 31. The book will then be sent to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge from the people of Nova Scotia.
