Evenings @ Government House: Legacy of Joseph Howe
The public is invited to Government House for a film screening and discussion on the legacy of Joseph Howe.
The event will be Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m., at 1451 Barrington St., Halifax.
"Mrs. Grant and I invite those with an interest in law, politics or journalism to join us for this fascinating evening, everyone is welcome," said Lt.-Gov. J.J. Grant.
This free event will feature a screening of the National Film Board's 1961 film Joseph Howe: The Tribune of Nova Scotia, followed by a discussion led by Kim Kierans, vice-president and journalism professor at the University of King's College.
