2019 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia Wines

Message of Condolence on the Passing of His Honour the Honourable W. Thomas Molloy OC, SOM, QC

Patsy and I were very saddened to learn of the death of His Honour The Honourable W. Thomas Molloy, OC, SOM, QC, who was serving as the 22 nd Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan. A respected lawyer, Lieutenant Governor Molloy will be remembered for his work in treaty-making and reconciliation with the Indigenous people of Canada. Most noteworthy was his groundbreaking work in treaty settlements that have changed the face of Canada. The Government House Summer Tour Program commences at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 28 June 2019 and will run until Monday, 26 August 2019. National Indigenous Peoples Day - 2019

Today, 21 June 2019, is National Indigenous Peoples Day. On this day, we honour Canada’s Indigenous peoples. We celebrate the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples and their heritage and culture and the special role they have in defining Canada.
