Platinum Jubilee Garden Party, Cape Breton

Their Honours are delighted to invite all Nova Scotians to a Platinum Jubilee Garden Party in Louisbourg on Saturday, July 30th. The celebration will take place at the Fortress of Louisbourg from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
The event recognizes Her Majesty's 70 years of service to all Canadians and individuals throughout the Commonwealth.

Updated Directions as of July 27th:
- Follow Route 22 through the town of Louisbourg and turn right at large sign indicating “Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site / Entrance”.
- Park in one of the designated areas and proceed to the Visitor Centre.
- From there, bus transport will be available to the reconstructed site.
Bus Service:
Bus service to and from the Fortress of Louisbourg operates from the Parks Canada visitor centre. This service runs during the peak season, and up to the last Thursday in September. During peak season, parking is available at the Parks Canada visitor centre. From there, buses will transport visitors to the reconstructed site.
Event Venue:
- The Platinum Jubilee Garden Party venue is the Ordonnateur’s residence.
- Proceed from the bus drop-off point through the Dauphin Gate and along the Quai.
