Tour Information
Summer Tours
Government House is open to the public for guided tours every July and August. They run on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays at 10am-4pm.
Admission is free and the guided tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tours take place every 30 minutes, on the hour and at half past.
The tour offers visitors a glimpse of the main floor of Government House. Visitors will view the Main Foyer, Grand Staircase, Ballroom, Morning Room, Drawing Room and Dining Room.
Visitors are welcome to take photographs throughout the tour.
School Tours
Tours are available for students from all schools in Nova Scotia. All student tour requests must be booked at least six weeks in advance.

Group Tours
Tours are also available for groups and organizations interested in the history of Government House and the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Tours are not available to commercial operators. All group tour requests must be booked at least six weeks in advance.
