On behalf of the people of Nova Scotia, Mrs. Grant and I extend our sincerest congratulations to His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh on the occasion of his 95th Birthday on June 10th, 2016.

Nova Scotians have fond memories of His Royal Highness’ Royal Tour of our province that was undertaken in 2010. Since his first tour of Canada in 1951 when he and the then Princess Elizabeth extensively toured Canada, and through his involvement with the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Air Force and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme in particular, he has had a significant influence on countless Canadians over more than six decades.

We send His Royal Highness our best wishes for continued health and happiness.
