Four Nova Scotia communities have received the 2019 Lieutenant Governor’s Community Spirit Award for their exemplary civic and community spirit.  The winning communities are:

• Glace Bay, Cape Breton Regional Municipality
• Petite Rivière, Lunenburg Co.
• Port Williams, Kings Co.
• Potlotek First Nation, Unama'ki/St. Peter's

The Community Spirit Award celebrates the power, strength and diversity of vibrant communities across Nova Scotia.

His Honour extends his warmest congratulations to these communities and looks forward to presenting the awards over the new few months.
