Ceramics Exhibit at Government House
In collaboration with the Nova Scotia Potters Guild, Government House will host a ceramics exhibition titled Quaff: To Drink Deeply that has been created by some of Nova Scotia’s finest artists.
Quaff is a juried exhibition of new work by members of the Nova Scotia Potters Guild. The show’s theme has inspired pieces ranging from complete tea sets to birds in a tree waiting to drink.
“We are very fortunate to have a vibrant and high-caliber arts scene in this province that spans many disciplines,” said Lieutenant Governor Arthur J. LeBlanc. “This description can also be applied to the high-quality ceramic arts led by the Nova Scotia Potters Guild and Quaff is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the incredible talent that exists in the ceramic arts. We are pleased that Government House is the venue for the exhibition and we hope the public will view the beautiful works.”
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
Quaff will also be the featured art installation during Nocturne: Art at Night at Government House on Saturday, 13th October 2018.
