Coronation Medal Investiture at Government House

Nova Scotians were awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in recognition of significant service during the inaugural investiture ceremony at Government House on May 6.

The medal recipients represent a broad cross-section of Nova Scotians who have made significant contributions to Canada, the province or their community.

“His Majesty has dedicated his life to the service of people throughout the Commonwealth, championing youth, environmental stewardship, Crown-Indigenous relations and service provided by those in uniform. In this spirit, the Coronation Medal honours those who have demonstrated an unwavering dedication to their professions and the well-being of the province,” said Lt-Gov. Arthur J. LeBlanc.

The medal program was established by the Government of Canada in May 2023 with the support of The King and is administered by the Chancellery of Honours, on behalf of the Governor General.
