Today, 2 June 2021, marks the 68^th anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada.  

The Queen acceded to the throne with the passing of her father, His Majesty King George VI, on 6 February 1952.  The Coronation took place after 15 months of planning at Westminster Abbey, London on 2 June 1953.
