Display of the African Nova Scotian Flag at Government House - 23 February 2021

Last evening, the new African Nova Scotian Flag was displayed for the first time during the Evenings @ Government House Winter 2021 Series event celebrating African Heritage Month 2021. 

Wendie L. Wilson, designer of the flag, was present for the event.

During his opening remarks, His Honour The Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, said, “I am proud to say we are displaying the newly created African Nova Scotian flag here at Government House for the first time.  Let me congratulate and thank you Ms. Wilson for your work in creating this wonderful flag and we look forward to displaying this flag at special events.”
