Lieutenant Governor Congratulates The Prince of Wales on his 70th Birthday – 14 November 2018
On behalf of all Nova Scotians, His Honour The Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, has extended congratulations and best wishes to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales on the occasion of his 70th Birthday. In his letter to Prince Charles, His Honour noted the Prince’s life-long charitable work and in particular the Prince’s Trust Canada. The Prince’s Trust Canada works to reveal potential in three key program: providing entrepreneurship training for veterans and transitioning Canadian Armed Forces members; helping young people build confidence through employability programs; and supporting Indigenous communities as they revitalize and protect their languages. The Prince of Wales has visited Nova Scotia on several occasions, the last being in May 2014, when he and the Duchess of Cornwall spent two days in various locations around the province.
