Nocturne: Art at Night 2018
Government House is once again pleased to be a featured site as part of Nocturne: Art at Night.
Nocturne: Art at Night is an annual festival bringing art and energy to the streets of Halifax. You are invited to participate in a new creative experience that showcases and celebrates the arts community in Halifax.
From 6:00 PM to Midnight on Saturday, 13 October 2018, guests are invited to tour the ground level of Government House, Canada’s oldest vice-regal residence, and view the Nova Scotia Potters Guild ceramics exhibition titled QUAFF: To Drink Deeply. In addition, there will be demonstrations of clay hand-building and clay throwing on a potter’s wheel.
Government House is one of the top-drawing venues of Nocturne, with over 2,700 guests in 2017.
