The Halifax Music Co-op's Vesuvius Chamber Choir and Orchestra sends it soloist from its cross-province concert tour of Handel's Messiah along with Music Director John Bogardus and Guest Musician John Overton to Government House to perform solo selections from the Messiah. In addition, movements from Beethoven's monumental Kreutzer Sonata will be performed. The evening will include a brief summary presentation of the tour and the food accessibility work done by the Halifax Music Co-op, Brunswick Street Mission, and Holy Trinity Anglican Church Yarmouth surrounding this year's Messiah fundraising performances.
