Government House: Complimentary Summer Tours!!

The Lieutenant Governor is delighted to invite the public for a complimentary tour of Government House during the summer months of July and August.

In this historic year of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee, we invite our citizens and visitors from across Canada, and around the world, to visit the ceremonial home of all Nova Scotians.

Since 1805, the viceregal residence has been continuously occupied by the Sovereign's representative except for a brief period between 2006-2009 when the house underwent extensive renovations.  Over time many royal visitors have stayed at, and visited the stately residence.  This includes Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh's most recent stay in 2010.

The tours will be available on Fridays and Mondays from 10am to 2pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm, in the months of July and August.
