On behalf of all Nova Scotians, Darlene and I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Her Honour the Honourable Louise Imbeault, Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick, on the occasion of her Installation Ceremony.

Following a distinguished career as a journalist, her role as Chancellor of the University of Moncton, and her dedicated advocacy for social justice and the recognition of the cultural contributions of communities across New Brunswick, this appointment is truly well-deserved.

Darlene and I were delighted to attend the Installation Ceremony on January 22nd and look forward to the initiatives that will emerge from the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick.

While in New Brunswick, I was also pleased to meet His Honour the Honourable Dr. Wassim Salamoun, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, in person for the first time. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect and discuss the important work being done across the region as we continue to serve our respective provinces.
