To mark the beginning of Halifax Pride, His Honour The Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, raised the Pride Flag at Government House this morning.

The Pride Flag will fly at Government House from today until sunset on Sunday, 26 July 2020, which is the last day of Halifax Pride.

In 2014, Government House Halifax was the first such building in the Commonwealth to fly the Pride Flag.

The theme of the 2020 Halifax Pride Festival is Pride//AMPLIFIED.
