The Windsor Uniform

The Windsor Uniform with a hat and sword is the formal attire of the Lieutenant Governor. The uniform was introduced by George III and worn by members of the Royal Family. It is worn by the Lieutenant Governor at official ceremonies, such as the opening of the Legislature and the New Year's Day Levée.
