Hello, my name is Angel.

Hello, my name is Angel. I hope you learned about the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and Government House while playing my game, Angel's Adventure.

I have lived with the Honourable Mayann Francis for six years. I was born on May 9, 2001 in Berwick, Nova Scotia. My family comes from a line of cats called 'Ragdolls'. Her Honour and I have been together since I was just four months old.

I have deep blue eyes and am multi-coloured. My tail, ears, back and part of my front paws are brown. Part of my face is brown, but my mane is white. When I was born, I was all white. As I grew up, my other colours emerged.

I like to play with things that roll. I have several balls, one even lights up. During the day, I sleep and play with my toys. My favourite spot in my home is to sit in the large windows and watch the birds and people walking outside. Sometimes I see people jogging. Her Honour says exercise is very important. So I run around our home chasing balls.

When Her Honour comes home, I am at the door to meet her because I miss her when she is not around. As Lieutenant Governor, she is always busy and I do not see her as often as I would like. But when I do, I keep crying until she picks me up. Every morning before she leaves, she brushes me. I like the feel of the brush. Afterwards, Her Honour gives me cat treats that come from my veterinarian. That's where Her Honour buys all my food.

I think it is time for my nap now. Her Honour has gone into the office. I am happy to have this opportunity to share my story with you. Remember to study hard. Her Honour always talks about the value of education, community, seniors and youth. She says we must respect people and be kind. I am getting sleepy, so take care.
